The film is transparent, allowing for wound inspection without changing the dressing. The polyurethane film is also waterproof and bacteria-proof, allowing the patient to shower while remaining protected against secondary infections. Its water vapor permeability helps prevent skin maceration. OPSITE FLEXIGRID features a grid application aid that facilitates the measurement and documentation of wound healing. OPSITE FLEXIGRID is clinically proven and ensures moist wound healing for superficial wounds. In addition, OPSITE FLEXIGRID is ideally suited for use as a secondary dressing and for the prevention of pressure ulcers by reducing shear forces.

Features:

Rapid, Painless Wound Healing

A polyacrylate adhesive that is particularly gentle on the skin

Waterproof and bacteria-resistant

Adapts well even to body parts that move a lot (e.g., joints)

A unique grid-based application aid for documenting the wound

Cost-effective; can remain on the wound for up to 14 days

Latex-free formulation

Applications:

OPSITE FLEXIGRID is indicated for superficial wounds with little to no exudate, such as superficial pressure ulcers, minor burns and scalds, abrasions, and lacerations, and lower leg ulcers in the final stage of wound healing.
