New tattoo? See how you can take care of the skin after a tattoo
The most important points in brief
- The skin is the largest human organ and at the same time quite sensitive.
- Injuries and burns are deeply anchored in the skin's memory.
- Even getting a tattoo is not a piece of cake for the skin, the strain is relatively high.
- But nowadays there are a lot of good means of caring for skin damaged by a tattoo.
Are you thinking about getting a tattoo? Body jewelry can be a great thing, and if you think you can do a tattoo and find it aesthetic - why not? Everyone in his own way, that is absolutely correct. The fact that you should think about your skin is a topic that you have to talk about. So we do that too.
What happens when I get a tattoo?
In short, the tattoo artist punctures the skin, so he scratches it, while at the same time the tattoo machine releases color into the skin. So it is a deliberate injury to the skin. Of course, a good tattoo artist knows how deep the puncture should go - it must not go too far under the skin, but also not be too close to the surface. Both are disadvantageous.
If the stitch is too deep, bleeding usually occurs, which leads to the colors being washed out. If, on the other hand, the cut is too superficial, then the color would eventually disappear because the regrowing skin cells repel the colored cells - simply put. A tattoo only lasts permanently in the middle layers of the skin of the fibroblasts.
The sensitive skin can be optimally protected
Various dangers lurk when tattooing, for example color pigments can penetrate the bloodstream and reach the lymph nodes. But that's not what we're talking about here - it's about the skin. And you shouldn't take care of them lightly. Those who do without care products risk permanent irritation of their own skin. This is uncomfortable and also counteracts the aesthetics that you want to achieve with the tattoo.
With special Tattoocare you can protect your skin accordingly. Because there are products that prepare the skin for the procedure - and articles that deliver the necessary substances to the wound that is created by the sting. But not only the care of the sore spot is necessary, it must also be protected from environmental influences. The sun should not burn directly on the area, the dangerous UV radiation damages the skin and stands in the way of the healing process.
Tattoocare strengthens the skin - and not just the
Don't hesitate if you are thinking about tattoocare - you are not only using it to strengthen the skin. If the sore area heals faster, bathing, for example, also becomes less dangerous. If a tattoo wound does not heal well, bacteria of the Vibrio vulnificus species can penetrate the organism through the water. This can result in a bad infection.
All in all, lotion, ointment and cream can be a blessing for the healing wound, but a special butter is also good. Incidentally, the healing process is accelerated if you prepare the skin for the tattoo with special preparations.
