Contragel green is a contraceptive gel for use with the contraceptives diaphragm, contraceptive and cervical cap. The safety of these contraceptive methods is increased by using Contragel green.
Contragel green uses cellulose (gel former) to form a mechanical barrier in front of the cervix. The lactic acid contained lowers the vaginal pH value. The increased acidity and viscosity of the gel have a motility-inhibiting effect on the spermatozoa.

Application:
