Eggs are colored pink to dark purple depending on the duration and concentration of the brew.
Application
Add about 5g of cochineal to 1½l of cold water, bring to a slow boil and allow to cool again slightly. Pour in raw eggs and hard-boil them as desired. It is recommended to use an old pot.
