The Hopisana Earcandles are handmade in Switzerland with natural substances. For safety's sake, a filter made of sheep's wool is inserted to prevent wax from getting into the ear canal.

Effect

The first principle of action is heat. This is reflected into the interior of the ear and thus causes increased blood circulation and a stimulation of the immune defences. In the ear area, the lymphatic circulation, which is responsible for the excretory processes, is also stimulated. This ear area stimulated in this way is also associated with the lymphatic pharyngeal ring and the reticuloendothelial system. The effect continues through the Eustachian tube into the pharynx (these zones are difficult to access by ear acupuncture; the Hopi ear candles stimulate exactly these zones). Local tissue stimulation also improves skin function, cleanses pores, and promotes secretions. The second mechanism of action is due to the negative pressure created in the ear by the burning of the candle. The pressure conditions in the sinuses and in the ear are harmonized.
