Preparation

Mix flour mix and yeast, add lukewarm milk and soft butter cubes to a bowl and knead into a soft, gelatinous dough. Let dough stand for 3-4 minutes and then knead again. Shape dough into one large braid, two or three small braids, depending on Bel. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 2 hours. After rising, brush braid twice with egg and bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) or 200°C (top and bottom heat). Bake depending on the size of the plaits (three small plaits about 25 minutes, two small plaits about 30 minutes and large plait about 35 minutes). Leave to cool on a wire rack.
