Octenilin wound gel is used for moistening and cleaning chronic wounds and burn wounds. Octenilin wound gel shows excellent inactivation of germs after just 1 minute of contact.

Application:

First rinse and clean the wound over a large area (e.g. with Octenilin wound irrigation solution) in order to remove easily detachable deposits. Then treat the wound with Octenilin wound gel and cover it with suitable wound dressings.
Octenilin wound gel can be left on the wound until the next dressing change. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the nature of the wound and the amount of exudate and must be adapted to the respective wound situation, but should be done after a maximum of 3 days. In combination with gauze, the bandage should be changed daily and the wound cleaned. The application should be repeated until all deposits can be removed and the wound is optically clean.
