Active oxygen-based instrument disinfectant for manual cleaning and disinfection with multi-enzyme formula.

Areas of application:

Universal cleaning and disinfection of thermostable and thermolabile medical instruments of all kinds. Particularly suitable for flexible endoscopes and sensitive materials such as silicone, polycarbonate, polysulfone and acrylic glass. In addition to manual processing, the gigasept pearls are also suitable for use in the ultrasonic bath.

The instrument disinfection granulate is diluted with cold water to the desired application concentration.

Dosage:

Depending on the microbiological effectiveness 1% - 2%. The solution is prepared with the enclosed measuring spoon / cup.

Application example:

10 liters of a 2% working solution corresponds to 9.8 liters of water and 200 g (200 g = 300 ml) gigasept® pearls. Fill in water and after sprinkling in the appropriate amount of granulate, stir several times during the first 15 minutes. After this activation time, the working solution is ready for use. Smaller undissolved residues do not impair the effectiveness of the working solution, but rather represent an effective activity depot. Place the endoscopes and instruments to be reprocessed in the working solution. Pay attention to complete wetting, also with hollow-bodied instruments, and allow to take effect. After reprocessing, rinse / rinse the instruments thoroughly with water of at least drinking water quality, or better with deionized water, in order to completely remove residues of the working solution. Please note the reprocessing recommendations of the instrument manufacturer. Do not mix with detergents or other disinfectants. According to Krinko / BfArM recommendation, cleaning and disinfection must be carried out in separate work steps.
