Distinctive, organically grown rooibos from the Cedar Mountains of South Africa - wholesome, fruity and caffeine-free. The subtle tangerine note contributes to the uniqueness of this blend. The rugged beauty of the "Cederberg Mountain" region in the south-west of South Africa is the home of the rooibos plant - around 200 km north of Cape Town, around the towns of Clanwilliam and Citrusdal. It is found exclusively in this area worldwide, so it is not surprising that it has become South Africa's national drink. It is not known exactly how old the rooibos (Afrikaans rooi = red and bos = bush) is, but it was first described in 1772 by the botanist Carl Thunberg as a medicinal plant of the Khoisan. rzUnlike black or green tea, rooibos tea contains no caffeine and few tannins, which means that it does not have any effects such as a bitter taste or insomnia. To give the rooibos a more exclusive note, we have blended it with a little hibiscus and tangerine, an Asian variety of the mandarin orange that we are more familiar with. The result is a great tea with a wonderful aroma that can also be enjoyed late at night.

How to use

Rooibos should be brewed at a water temperature of 95-98°C (after boiling, leave the water in the kettle ku rz and wait until it stops boiling).
