Ginger alone warms the senses as a tea due to its Schärfe. Fruity-fresh lemongrass, licorice sweetness and pepper round off the ginger tea blend - a tea as pleasant as a warming blanket. The subtle message of this tea is: "All-pervading mystery".
Ginger
Whether in Christmas cookies, in a curry mix or as a lemonade: bulbous ginger is one of the world's best-known spice rzplants. It has been cultivated for thousands of years in the tropical heat of eastern Asia and gives many of our YOGI TEAs a fruity, spicy, aromatic rziger taste.
weak rzer pepper
Also known as the "king of spices rze", weak rze pepper is the most important spice in the world today alongside salt rz. It originally comes from the Indian Malabar coast and tastes intensely spicy and slightly hot to hot rz.
Lemon grass
Lemongrass contains essential oils and has a strong, lemony-fresh flavor. It is still unclear where the plant, which is mainly used in Asian cuisine, originally comes from Familie der Süßgräser.
Liquorice
Licorice, the main ingredient in liquorice, has been known since ancient times. It has around 50 times the sweetening power of sugar and tastes mildly sweet and bitter-tart.
Peppermint
First discovered in 1696 and probably a cross between brook mint and Wildmint, peppermint is one of the best-known plants in the world today. Peppermint is extremely popular worldwide due to its refreshing aroma and has a light, pleasant Schärfe.
Preparation
Pour 250 ml of boiling water over the tea bag and leave to infuse for around 5-7 minutes (longer for a stronger flavor).
