Zechstein Magnesium Flakes is a bath additive consisting of pure magnesium chloride hexahydrate. The flakes are obtained from the so-called Magnesium Oil by heating and drying. It is a pure natural product, free of additives. The magnesium chloride concentration is approx. 47 %. 1 g Magnesium Flakes contains approx. 120 mg pure magnesium.

Application

A bath with Zechstein Magnesium Flakes is particularly suitable for relaxation, for regeneration after physical Belastress and for skin care. A highly concentrated foot bath with magnesium flakes can also quickly and safely correct a magnesium deficiency. The concentration should be at least 5 %. A foot bath with 5 litres of water requires about 500 g of magnesium flakes.

Full bath

Dissolve the entire contents of the bag in the bath water and only allow enough water to run into the bath tub to just cover the body in order to achieve the highest possible magnesium concentration in the bath water. Recommended bath temperature approx. 37° Celsius, bath duration 20 to 30 minutes.

Footbath

Dissolve 150 to 250 g of Zechstein Magnesium Flakes in 5 litres of water at a temperature of approx. 37° Celsius and bathe the feet in it for 20 to 30 minutes.
