3M Cavilon Advanced Skin Protectant Applicator (20 x 0.7ml)

3M Cavilon Advanced is a skin protectant film with a single-use applicator. According to the manufacturer it is used to prevent and treat incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and to protect damaged or at-risk skin.

Contents and size

20 single-use applicators of 0.7 ml each. According to the manufacturer, one applicator covers an area of about 160 cm².

Use and notes

Cleanse the skin first and pat it dry. Hold the applicator with the lever pointing down, press the lever firmly until the ampoule breaks, and apply the film in a thin layer. Allow at least 60 seconds of drying time before applying an adhesive dressing. Do not use together with other skin protectants that form a barrier (e.g. acrylate). Please read the package insert.
