This sterile, waterproof dressing reliably stabilizes catheters and protects the puncture site from external influences such as bacteria, viruses, blood and other body fluids. In vitro tests show that the breathable film provides an effective barrier against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or more - provided that the dressing remains intact and free of leaks. Thanks to its transparency, the catheter insertion site can be visually inspected at any rzeit without having to change the dressing.

Application is particularly user-friendly: adhesive-free retaining tabs ensure precise positioning without unintentional sticking, and the application frame enables one-handed application with minimal material waste. The bandage can be worn for up to seven days, allows the skin to breathe and at the same time enables safe showering thanks to its waterproof properties.
