Application

The ACTIVE3 Erection System and the MANUAL Erection System are medical devices used for vacuum therapy to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence). In vacuum therapy, an erection is achieved through negative pressure. The vacuum pump creates a vacuum inside the cylinder surrounding the penis.

To do this, the cylinder is first placed over the penis, and then the pumping process begins. The vacuum created draws additional blood into the erectile tissue, causing the penis to become erect. A constriction ring is then slipped over the shaft of the penis.

When the cylinder is removed, it prevents blood from flowing out, thereby maintaining the erection. With the erection maintained in this way, normal and satisfying sex is possible. The constriction ring should not be worn for more than 30 minutes at a time.
