Adaptic non-adherent wound dressing is a primary dressing made of woven cellulose impregnated with a special petrolatum emulsion.

The pore size of Adaptic non-adherent wound dressing:

• allows exudate to drain freely into the secondary dressing, thereby reducing the risk of exudate accumulation and maceration in the wound.
• reduces the risk of sticking to the wound, both for the Adaptic non-adherent wound dressing and the secondary dressing.

Indications:

Adaptic non-adherent wound dressing can be used on dry to heavily exuding wounds, such as:

• first- and second-degree burns
• lacerations and abrasions
• grafts
• venous ulcers
