Acaro MilbenStopp is a natural powder for controlling red poultry mites and crawling pests such as cockroaches and ants. It consists of 100% fossilized diatoms and contains no synthetic insecticides. The powder works by interacting with the pests’ outer protective layer, causing them to dry out and die.

It can be used in many ways: Acaro MilbenStopp can be applied across poultry-house surfaces as well as in hiding places, along pathways, and in nests of mites and other harmful insects. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, providing a sustainable and safe way to reliably reduce pests.

Application:

• Against red poultry mites: Dust the entire surface and cracks of the poultry house with Acaro (approx. 50g/sq m). The animals must be outside the house during treatment. Feeding areas and water storage tanks must be covered with plastic sheeting before application. When applying Acaro MilbenStopp over large areas, we recommend wearing a dust mask.
• Against ants and cockroaches: Identify insect hiding places and pathways and dust them directly with the bottle (7 g/m2). Alternatively, dust barriers (7 g/m, barrier width 1–3cm) can be placed along the insects’ pathways. When treating nests, dust all nest openings directly (5g/nest). Outdoors, the product should only be used in dry weather when no rain is expected in the next 24 hours. Applying it to wet surfaces delays its effectiveness.
