Andermatt Biogarten Buy Bat Box, 42x26x12cm (1 pc)

The Biogarten bat box offers various native bat species a protected summer and winter roost and helps to compensate for the increasing lack of living space caused by modern, dense construction methods. Made from the r obost wood, the box compensates for temperature fluctuations in spring and fall and has covered gaps to prevent draughts. Cross grooves incorporated into the inside of the rear wall make it easier for the animals to hold on. The hinged front wall also makes cleaning easy and hygienic.

The box can be mounted on trees, buildings or in screeds already used by bats. For optimum use, a height of 2.5-6 m in a sunny, wind-protected location is recommended. The bat box is manufactured in a social institution in Switzerland and is ideal for creating suitable retreats in both summer and winter, thereby sustainably supporting the native bat population.
