Gently pelleted horsetail for the simple production of broths or slurries. The silicic acid contained in horsetail strengthens plants and has a preventative effect against fungal diseases and pests. The pellets are easy to prepare and offer a natural, organic alternative to chemical pesticides. Field horsetail is particularly suitable for Gemüseed, fruit, berries, ornamental plants and herbs to strengthen their resistance and promote the growth of healthy plants.

To make the slurry, mix 150g horsetail pellets with approx. 10 liters of rainwater and stir gently. The Gemish should stand for 2-3 weeks, covered, warm and air-permeable, stirring daily until no more foam forms when stirring. Then sieve off the liquid. The odor can be reduced by adding stone meal. Metal containers are not suitable for making slurry.

To make the slurry, mix 150g of horsetail pellets with approx. 10 liters of rainwater, stir gently and leave to stand for 24 hours. Then boil for about 20 minutes, leave to cool and sieve. The broth can be applied directly to the plants and provides important silicic acid for healthy and resistant plants.

Application:

Dilute mature slurry or broth with water at a ratio of 1:10 for watering in a watering can and for spraying in a sprayer. When spraying (against fungal diseases and pests), treat the leaves of the plants dripping wet in dry weather and under cloudy skies.

Repeat application regularly every 10-14 days until the end of the growing season. In the case of rapidly spreading fungal infections, horsetail broth or slurry can be applied 3 days in succession. When watering (for general strengthening of the plants), water generously every 10-14 days in the area of the root rzel.
