Andermatt Biogarten Insect module beetle (1 pc) buy

Ladybugs, lacewings, earwigs, Raub mites and spiders are among the most important natural enemies of aphids and other pests. These beneficial insects work permanently and leave no residue on plants, nor do they pose a risk to humans or pets. Their presence can significantly reduce the use of pesticides. Insect modules offer the animals protected retreats and hibernation sites and at the same time provide exciting obobservation opportunities in your own garden. rz The hexagonal module is ideally installed from May to May so that the tubes it contains can be reliably colonized.

A suitable location is dry, sunny and sheltered from the wind, facing south-east and about 50 cm above the ground. The module can be attached directly to a wall or to a board, which in turn is attached to a post or tree. For maintenance purposes, the front can simply be unscrewed to replace the contents. The old material should be emptied under a hedge or plant to protect any beneficial insects. The module is then cleaned, dried and loosely filled with dry pine cones, moss and undyed wood wool. The external treatment with linseed oil also ensures a longer service life.
