Andermatt Biogarten Buy Tangle-Trap Ant Barrier Insect Glue (156g)

The ant barrier is a special glue that prevents ants from climbing the trunks of trees and shrubs in search of aphids, frost moths or other crawling insects. The product is also suitable for recoating Rebell insect traps. The glue is not applied directly to the trunk, but to a painter's masking tape applied at a height of approx. 60 cm. The layer of glue should be about 10 cm wide and without gaps around the trunk. Tree stakes can also be reliably protected in this way. Make sure that there are no ant bridges, such as blades of grass. Dirty or worn glue barriers should be replaced. One tube of glue is sufficient for 5-10 trees.

The ant barrier can also be used to re-coat Rebell insect traps, for example the Rebell amarillo cherry fly trap. To do this, the glue is heated in a hot water bath or in a metal bucket and then applied thinly with a spatula to the cleaned Fatrap parts. The newly coated Facovers are immediately ready for use again and provide effective protection against crawling insects.
