Good to Know: Rest and Recovery

The calming effect of the Swiss stone pine scent was already known to our ancestors. For example, it could alleviate sensitivity to weather changes and nervousness. In 2003, a study by the Human Research Institute in Styria confirmed the positive effects of Swiss stone pine wood: people sleep better in a room furnished with Swiss stone pine. The heart rate decreases, and relaxation and regeneration are promoted. The essential oil is also excellent for purifying indoor air. It also has a toxic effect on pests (moths, bacteria, mold).

Tip

When the scent starts to fade, turn the wooden sticks over.
