For people who are deeply enthusiastic but who, in their overzealousness for a “good cause,” often overexert themselves. They are extremely sensitive to injustice, enjoy proselytizing, and tend toward extremes. The German name is: Eisenkraut.

Background on Bach Flower Remedies

The Bach Flower Remedies were developed by the Englishman Edward Bach. He assigned a specific remedy to each of the negative emotional states he identified as being responsible for all forms of suffering and illness. These remedies are intended to promote emotional balance. Traditionally, the numbered essences have English names and are assigned to different areas of application.

Even today, the individual flowers are still collected at the sites in England originally designated by Bach and ritually processed according to the potentization methods he described.

Application

• A glass of water (for short-term use): Add two drops of the selected essences to a glass of water and drink in small sips; repeat as needed.
• Blend (for long-term use): Select up to seven essences. Add two drops of each selected essence to a 30-ml mixing bottle. Fill the bottle with still mineral water and about one teaspoon of fruit vinegar or alcohol (e.g., brandy) to act as a natural preservative. Take four drops of this mixture at least four times a day. Overdose is not possible. When refrigerated, the mixture generally keeps for three weeks.
