If plaque is not removed regularly and thoroughly through daily dental cleaning, it hardens into tartar, especially around the canines and molars. This can cause permanent damage to the gums and the periodontal tissues. That is why tartar should be removed as early as possible and on a regular basis. To this end, we have developed the unique bogadent® Tartar Remover in collaboration with veterinarians and specialists. The extra-hard plastic removes tartar very effectively, yet is gentle on the teeth.

• Hygienic, exceptionally durable material
• Two different instruments made of hard plastic (no metal) for efficient and gentle tartar removal
• Ideal for removing tartar around the canines and molars, in the spaces between teeth, and in the grooves of the teeth
• Developed in collaboration with veterinarians and specialists

Application

Get your dog used to effective dental and oral hygiene as early as possible, in a gentle and playful way. Place the longer instrument with the flat, beveled ends against the upper edge of the tartar and pull it downward with a quick but careful motion (away from the gums). Repeat this until the tartar is completely removed. Use the pointed instrument to remove tartar from between the teeth and in the grooves of the teeth.
