The Bort Stabilo ISG orthosis is a functional orthosis for stabilising the pelvis and the ISG (sacroiliac joint). It is placed circularly around the hips.

Indication according to the manufacturer

ISG osteoarthritis, ISG instability and ISG blockage, myalgia and tendinopathies in the pelvic area and structural disorders after spondylodesis of the lumbar spine.

How to use

Place the orthosis circularly around the hips, position it centrally on the pelvis and close it at the front with the hook-and-loop fastener. Pull both straps forward evenly until the desired stabilisation is reached and fix them on the abdominal plate. To take it off, open the straps and the front closure.
