The Chemfort Bag Adapter SP connects to infusion bags and other containers with a proximal spike connector, transforming them into closed connections. The Bag Adapter SP requires no preparation and its end is opaque, allowing for visual confirmation when filling an infusion set. In addition, the Bag Adapter SP does not have a twist-off spike connector or a crimp clamp, which requires fewer handling steps. Bag Adapter SP can be used to spike any standard IV container. Medication can then be safely added via the side port. To administer, connect an administration set to the end of the Bag Adapter SP.
