Contopharma Spülen S is a multifunctional cleaning and storage solution for rigid gas-permeable contact lenses. It keeps the lens in a hydrated, isotonic state and inhibits the growth of contaminating microorganisms without causing the mucosa-friendly preservative to accumulate on the surface of the contact lenses. A special blend of combined polymers (“antisoiling agent”) makes the contact lens hydrophilic to optimize wearing comfort, facilitates the cleaning process (“antisoiling effect”), and largely prevents the accumulation of contaminants, thereby minimizing secondary immune reactions (redness of the eyes, GPC, etc.) are minimized.
