The CONTOUR blood glucose meter is reliable, user-friendly, and ready to use right away. The CONTOUR NEXT sensors automatically code themselves, just as you’ve come to expect from blood glucose meters in the CONTOUR family. A new feature of the CONTOUR meter is a measurement method called Multi-Pulse. The Multi-Pulse principle means that seven separate measurement pulses within the measurement period yield a highly precise reading. In addition, the sensor technology has also been improved. The CONTOUR NEXT sensors are highly resistant to environmental influences, thereby ensuring even more accurate measurement results.

Application

The CONTOUR blood glucose meter is ready to use immediately without any preliminary settings. A small blood sample of just 0.6 µl is sufficient for a precise and reliable blood glucose reading. After just five seconds, the result appears on the display in large, easy-to-read numbers. You can then determine your individual treatment plan. If the first drop of blood was not large enough, you have the option to add a second drop of blood to the same sensor within 30 seconds.
