AQUACEL EXTRA Hydrofiber Dressing is a soft, sterile, non-woven dressing made of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and regenerated cellulose fiber for reinforcement. This highly absorbent dressing soaks up wound secretions and forms a soft gel. The gel keeps the wound moist and creates an optimal wound healing environment. AQUACEL Extra supports the healing process and facilitates the removal of dead tissue from the wound (autolytic debridement) without damaging the newly formed tissue.
