The cool down FIRST AID SET contains everything needed for optimal cooling. Its compact size makes it easy to take anywhere. It is reusable and allows up to 15 applications.

Contents

• 100ml cool down Ice Fluid / approx. 15 applications
• 1x cool down cotton bandage (10cm x 2m unstretched)
• 1x conforming bandage (approx. 27m)
• 1x mixing container 400ml

Application

• Pour the cool down ICE FLUID concentrate into the mixing container
• Mix cool down ICE FLUID with water (ratio 1:5)​
• Place the latex-free cotton bandage in the mixing container with the ICE FLUID-water mixture and wet it evenly.
• Remove the cotton bandage from the mixing container and wring it out thoroughly. (When used carefully, it can be reused up to 40 times.)
• Bandage the injured area with the damp cotton bandage in a single layer, working toward the heart (cover fresh wounds with a film dressing first)
• Cover the cotton bandage with the conforming bandage (for optimal cooling, leave the dressing in place for 2 hours)

Leave the damp cotton bandage in place for 2–3 hours, until it has dried out. Repeat the process as often as necessary. The ICE FLUID is sufficient for approximately 40 (250ml) or 15 (100ml) applications. Using cool down is risk-free. In the case of open wounds, rashes, or eczema, cool down may only be used over a wound dressing. Particular care should be taken when cooling near the eyes and genitals.
