Wound healing can be improved through various measures. Good nutritional status—and, above all, an adequate intake of protein—also promotes wound healing. The nutritional drink Cubitan was developed specifically for patients with impaired wound healing. It is high in energy and protein and is additionally enriched with substances that promote wound healing, such as zinc, arginine, and antioxidants. Cubitan is available in three delicious flavors: vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate.

For wound healing disorders, a diet rich in energy and protein is particularly recommended. One serving of Cubitan (200 ml) therefore contains 250 kcal and 18 g of high-quality protein. It is also enriched with arginine, zinc, and antioxidant vitamins (A, C, and E), which play an important role in wound healing. Cubitan is therefore particularly suitable for patients with impaired wound healing and decubitus ulcers (bedsores).
