Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S is a superabsorbent wound dressing for the management of heavily to moderately exuding wounds.

The hydrokinetic fiber matrix, which incorporates highly water-retaining polymers (superabsorbents), creates a moist wound environment, absorbs large amounts of wound exudate, and securely locks it within the product’s core. This helps reduce the risk of maceration and optimally supports the healing process.

Thanks to Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S high exudate absorption capacity and high retention performance, fewer dressing changes are necessary, thereby promoting wound healing through rest and reducing the treatment burden. In addition, the expanded edge ensures broad-area contact with the wound.

Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S consists of a superabsorbent core and is encased in an ultrasonically sealed polypropylene nonwoven fabric. The product contains no pharmacological active ingredients.

Application

• Wounds with heavy to moderate exudate
• chronic wounds, such as leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and pressure ulcers
• Wounds of various origins that heal by secondary intention
• ulcerating carcinomas and similar secreting wounds
• Can also be used in compression therapy
