Emser Inhalation Solution is a ready-to-use, isotonic solution of natural Emser salt. It is used to moisturize and support the natural cleansing mechanisms of the upper and lower respiratory tracts. When there is increased mucus production in the bronchi, it can be difficult to cough up the often thick mucus. Therefore, it is important to liquefy or loosen the thick secretions while gently stimulating the ciliated cells—for example, in the bronchial mucosa—to help clear the secretions. The active ingredient complex in Emser Inhalation Solution moisturizes the airways and supports the natural cleansing mechanisms of the bronchi, making it easier to cough up mucus.

Usage:

The Emser inhalation solution comes in convenient, ready-to-use 5-ml ampoules that can be poured directly and easily into the inhaler. Inhalation devices that nebulize the solution into ultrafine aerosols using either compressed air, ultrasound, or a vibrating membrane are suitable for inhalation therapy.
The inhalation solution should be inhaled 3 to 4 times a day, with 5 ml of solution inhaled during each session. Depending on the inhaler, the volume required for nebulization can vary significantly. In this case, enough solution should be added to the inhaler to ensure an inhalation time of 10 to 15 minutes.
