The 5-mm-thick heel pads made of Physio'chocTM cushion the impact caused by heel strike and reduce tension in the sole of the foot by elevating the heel. The incorporation of EpitheliumTM silicone gel provides additional comfort. The heel pads are secured inside the shoe with double-sided adhesive tape. They are not washable.

Epthelium 26 is a silicone gel patented by medical pedicurists. Its properties are similar to those of certain human tissues.
