Exufiber Ag+ is an antimicr obial, gel-forming Faserver dressing that has been specifically developed for the treatment of infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection. The innovative Hydrolock® technology ensures that exudate is efficiently absorbed and securely trapped. On contact with wound fluid, the dressing transforms into a soft gel that clings perfectly to the wound bed, creating a moist environment that promotes healing.

The dressing is made of highly absorbent polyvinyl alcohol Fasers (PVA) and is coated with silver sulphate on both sides. The silver it contains has an antimicr obial effect and helps to reduce the bacterial load in the wound. Exufiber Ag+ is particularly suitable for deeper, moderately to heavily exuding wounds where reliable exudate management and an antimicr obial effect are crucial.
