Moisturizing agents containing hyaluronic acid, such as those found in Fermavisc® eye drops (Fermavisc® sine and Fermavisc® Gel sine), provide relief for dry eyes. Hyaluronic acid moisturizes the surface of the eye—that is, the cornea and conjunctiva—in a manner very similar to the body’s own tears and, as a natural substance, is very well tolerated.
