Formoline L112 is a fat-binding agent used to support the treatment of obesity, weight control, and the reduction of dietary cholesterol absorption. Taking these tablets reduces the absorption of fats, cholesterol, and triglycerides from food. A large portion of dietary fats is bound in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby reducing the number of calories absorbed from dietary fats. When the body burns more calories than it takes in through food, existing fat deposits—for example, on the abdomen, legs, or buttocks—are reduced.
