Gelostretch is a zinc-gel bandage that stretches both lengthwise and crosswise, allowing the bandage to be continuously molded to the body, even in critical areas with difficult anatomical transitions. Thanks to Gelostretch’s stretchy properties, the bandage can give way even as swelling in the leg subsides while still applying compression. Gelostretch consists of a cellulose-based zinc gel applied to a backing made of 76% viscose and 24% cotton. Gelostretch is suitable for compression bandaging in phlebological indications, such as:

• chronic venous insufficiency (including venous leg ulcers and phleb edema)
• Thrombophlebitis
• Phlebothrombosis
• as well as for support and compression braces used to treat conditions of the ligamentous and musculoskeletal system, such as: sprains, dislocations, and tenosynovitis; for follow-up treatment after casts have been removed; or to reduce post-traumatic edema.

Application
