The UV-B Quick Test is a quick and easy way to determine ob whether the UV medium used is still emitting sufficient radiation. The card measures the intensity of UV-B rays, UV-B fluorescent lamps or UV-B compact lamps using a new, non-toxic and environmentally friendly high-tech detection material printed on the card. A Farbumschlag on the card indicates ob whether UV-B radiation is still being emitted. The Farbe of the field on the card changes from white to purple depending on the intensity of the UV-B radiation. The card can be reused up to 500 times. But this card is also a great tool for testing whether ob the amount of UV-B is too high in the wild. If the Facolor of the card turns purple, you should besslook for a shady spot.

Application

This reusable card can detect UV-B radiation within 10 seconds. Hold the card under the UV lamp, directly in the spot (distance to the lamp approx. 5 cm), to check ob whether the lamp is still emitting UV-B radiation. If the white area on the card under the UV lamp turns purple, this means that the lamp is still emitting UV-B radiation.

Caution: Replace the UV lamps at least once a year or sooner. The card only serves as a guide. If the card does not show Farbe, the UV-B lamp should be replaced immediately!
