Honeybees discovered the resinous coatings on the young buds of deciduous and coniferous trees as a raw material for propolis. When mixed with their own secretions, this creates a high-quality natural substance that has enabled our honeybees to protect themselves to this very day. Propolis is suitable as a daily dietary supplement or for oral care.

Propolis has various effects:

• Antibacterial activity against various pathogenic bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enteritidis
• Anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, and immune-modulating effects
• Antioxidant effect, i.e., protection against free radicals (aggressive oxygen compounds that can damage cell structures)
• Antidepressant effect

Application

• Take 25 drops twice a day on a teaspoon of sugar or a piece of bread. If necessary, wait about two hours before consuming it so that most of the alcohol it contains has evaporated.
• Alternatively, enjoy it with milk or yogurt.
