Hydrocoll Classic is a high-quality, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing specially developed for the moist treatment of light to moderately exuding wounds. It absorbs excess wound secretions and thus creates an optimal, moist wound environment that actively promotes healing in the granulation and epithelialization phase. On contact with wound fluid, the dressing converts its hydrocolloid components into a gel-like substance that protects the wound, keeps the tissue moist and supports cell regeneration.

The semi-occlusive outer layer offers protection against external influences such as germs and fluids, while the good adhesion ensures a secure fit - additional fixation is not necessary. The rzfree dressing change avoids irritation of the wound and increases wearing comfort.

The dressing consists of three materials: hydrocolloid (sodium carboxymethylcellulose and hot-melt adhesive), polyurethane film and release paper.
