The HydroTac® wound dressing in the size 10 x 10 cm is a sterile, hydrophilic foam dressing that provides optimal care for both dry and moist wounds. It features a wound-facing mesh-like hydrogel layer and a water-vapor-permeable, fluid- and microorganism-impermeable polyurethane backing film.

Key features:

• Moisture management: Quickly absorbs excess wound exudate without drying out the wound. For relatively dry wounds, the hydrogel releases moisture and supports the formation and maintenance of a moist wound environment, promoting granulation and epithelialization.
• Comfort: Soft and flexible with good cushioning; can be removed with minimal pain.

Application:

Suitable for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wounds during the granulation and epithelialization phases, such as leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, and pressure ulcers. Also suitable for treating burns up to grade 2a and for caring for split-thickness skin graft donor sites after adequate hemostasis has been achieved.
