The HydroTac® wound dressing, measuring 10 x 20 cm, is a sterile, hydrophilic foam dressing that provides optimal care for both dry and moist wounds. It features a mesh-like hydrogel layer on the wound-facing side and a water-vapor-permeable, fluid- and microorganism-proof polyurethane backing film.

Key features:

• Moisture management: Quickly absorbs excess wound exudate without drying out the wound. For relatively dry wounds, the hydrogel releases moisture and supports the formation and maintenance of a moist wound environment, promoting granulation and epithelialization.
• Comfort: Soft and flexible with good cushioning; can be removed with minimal pain.

Application:

Suitable for treating slightly to moderately exuding wounds during the granulation and epithelialization phases, such as leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, and pressure ulcers. It is also suitable for treating burns up to grade 2a and for covering split-thickness skin graft donor sites after adequate hemostasis has been achieved.
