Ideal MINI Cotton is a fabric dye that restores your clothes and fabrics to their former glory. Whether you just want to freshen up your fabrics or even dye them a new color, with Ideal Maxi Cotton you can dye up to 200 g of fabric in a dark shade and up to 800 g in a lighter shade.
Ideal MINI Cotton is perfect for dyeing cotton, linen, viscose, jute, and silk. Simple, clean, and convenient! This handy DIY kit lets you gently re-dye your clothes in the washing machine at 40°C, without any risk to your machine. You can use the machine as usual immediately after dyeing, though we recommend running a wash cycle with dark-colored laundry.
Even if you prefer to hand-wash your clothes or don't want to wash them in the washing machine, Ideal MINI Cotton is the perfect choice—but keep in mind that the color results may be less intense. The dyeing result can be influenced by the fabric’s original color, the amount of material to be dyed, the fabric’s composition, and the type of dyeing process (machine wash or hand wash).
Usage:
- To determine the number of packages, it is important to weigh the dry fabric (the more fabric there is, the lighter the result will be).
- Pre-clean stained fabrics. Fabric dye is not an opaque dye. However, some stains can be covered with a darker shade.
- The temperature must be kept at 40° C during the dyeing process.
- The original color of the fabric affects the dyeing result. For example, if a yellow fabric is dyed blue, it turns green.
- For each load of laundry in the washing machine, you need 500 grams of table salt, regardless of the amount of detergent used.
