Product for increasing an alkalinity level that is too low to the optimum value of 100 ppm.

Description:

• A-Plus increases the acid-binding capacity (carbonate hardness) of swimming pool water.
• Water with low acid-binding capacity (carbonate hardness) has only a limited buffering capacity and can offer little resistance to influences that change the pH value; in other words, the pH value is unstable and subject to large fluctuations.
• Ideal value: alkalinity 100 ppm
• Contains sodium bicarbonate.

Causes of low alkalinity:

• Very soft water (e.g., in Ticino).
• Adding too much hydrochloric acid or measuring too soon after adding hydrochloric acid.
• The water is more than 1 year old.

Dosage:

• To increase alkalinity by 10 ppm, dose 170 g of A-PLUS per 10,000 liters
• Sprinkle the product directly over the water surface. It dissolves very quickly; leave the circulation system running

Calculation example:

• Pool volume: 50,000 liters, alkalinity = 70 ppm
• Calculation: 170 g x 3 (to increase by 30 ppm) x 5 (50,000 liters) = 2.55 kg A-PLUS
• Amount to add: 2.5 kg A-PLUS
