Highly effective, non-foaming algaecide for killing existing algae and as an activator for the oxygen method.

Description:

• Concentrated, liquid, non-foaming algaecide.
• Polymer of N-methylmethanamine with (chloromethyl)oxirane/polymeric quaternary ammonium chloride 168 mg/g
• Acts preventively and combats existing algae. - Can be combined with all conventional disinfectants and enhances the effect of chlorine or bromine.
• Excellent as an algaecide in pools with counter-current swimming systems or SwimmSpa.
• Suitable for all types of water.

Dosage for algae eradication (also see the Labulit algae eradication plan):

• Lower the pH value to 7.2 with WATCON-MINUS (as a rule, the pH value is too high when algae are present)
• 250 ml Blacktrol per 10‘000 liters of water.
• Dilute with water in a watering can and add to the pool water along the walls while the circulation system is running.
• Carry out a chlorine shock treatment with Super C or Pulit granules.
• Brush off or vacuum up dead algae; if necessary, use a flocculant (Wasserklar or Bio-Flock).
• In case of persistent algae growth, repeat after 24 hours.

Dosage as an activator for the OXYPUR oxygen method:

Preferably dilute the required amount in a little water and pour it into the pool while the circulation system is running, ideally along the walls:

• Initial dosage: 300 ml / 10'000 liters of water
• Weekly follow-up dosage: 50 ml / 10'000 liters of water

Weekly hot tub dosage:

• 30 ml / 1'000 liters of water

Notes:

• After each addition of the product to the pool water, the circulation system should remain switched on for complete mixing until the entire water volume of the swimming pool has circulated, but for at least 3 hours.
• After approximately 24 hours, remove the dead algae with a bottom vacuum.
• Do not use water treated with BLACKTROL for watering plants; do not discharge it directly into rivers or fish ponds
