In cases of acute injury, prolonged strain, chronic wear and tear, or following surgery, the wrist needs rest and reliable external stabilization. It is just as important to restore the joint’s mobility as quickly as possible. Our ManuTrain hand support helps with this: Its two-part strap system allows for individual adjustment of the stabilization to the specific symptoms without restricting gripping movements. To achieve this, the strap system is wrapped around the palm and wrist starting from the forearm and secured to provide immediate, noticeable relief in cases of severe discomfort. The degree of stabilization can then be reduced as therapy progresses and depending on pain levels by first omitting the stabilization strap and, in a second step, the elastic fascia band—which is tightened in a circular fashion around the wrist—while wearing the brace. During movement, the brace alleviates pain through medical compression of the tissue and provides a massage effect that promotes blood circulation and regeneration. The elastic Train knit fabric, in combination with the pad positioned on the ulna, additionally stimulates the muscles that stabilize the joint. The functional pad features a recess for the bony prominence—this protects against pressure peaks and also serves as a positioning aid for the wrist brace. The skin-friendly materials, low-compression edges, and the anatomically shaped thumb opening of the ManuTrain enhance comfort during your daily activities or therapeutic exercises.
