The Melolite wound pad is a sterile, non-adherent wound dressing made of a cotton wool pad wrapped on both sides in a porous plastic film. The perforated film reduces sticking to the wound.

Notes

Fixation is done with tape such as OPSITE Flexifix. How often to change it depends on the amount of wound fluid. Intended uses according to the supplier: post-operative wounds, first aid for clean sutured wounds, abrasions and minor burns. Read the manufacturer's instructions for use before applying. Seek medical advice if there are signs of infection.
