Buy Mepilex Transfer Safetac Silicone Foam Dressing 20x50cm (4 pcs)

Soft, exudate-absorbing silicone foam dressing with drainage capability. Mepilex Transfer is a soft, exudate-absorbing silicone foam dressing with drainage capability for a wide range of exuding wounds. It can also be used to protect damaged and/or fragile skin. Mepilex Transfer efficiently wicks exudate away from the wound, thereby minimizing the risk of maceration. It maintains a moist wound environment when used in combination with a suitable secondary dressing. The Mepilex Transfer dressing is soft, thin, and highly conformable, making it suitable for difficult-to-dress wounds and areas. It therefore rests gently on the skin without sticking to the moist wound—thanks to Safetac. Numerous randomized studies have shown that dressings with Safetac cause demonstrably less damage to the wound and skin during dressing changes. Sealing the wound edges helps prevent maceration. Less damage to the wound and skin means less pain during dressing changes. Therefore, several randomized studies have associated dressings with Safetac with faster healing and lower overall treatment costs.
