Methocel 2% is a highly viscous, colorless, transparent and isotonic solution of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose. Due to a very pure quality of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose a precisely adjustable viscosity is achieved.
Application
After thorough cleaning and disinfection, drop 1-2 drops into the concave part of the contact glass. When removing the contact glass, tilt it to prevent possible aspiration. After the examination, the epithelium should be checked for integrity. Diagnostic contact glasses should only be used by a trained Fachperson.
