Breathable, waterproof clothing becomes saturated with sweat very quickly in damp and wet conditions and gets wet from the inside. When the outer fabric absorbs water, the clothing can lose up to 70% of its breathability. The durable water-repellent (DWR) finish on your jacket’s outer fabric must therefore be maintained to ensure comfort. Nikwax Tech Wash® refreshes the DWR coating and, in turn, the breathability of your clothing. Nikwax Tech Wash® is the market leader; it was specifically developed and optimized for breathable, waterproof fabrics. Nikwax Tech Wash® is a highly effective cleaner. In addition, the product refreshes the existing durable water-repellent (DWR) protection and breathability. This method guarantees that your waterproof clothing and gear will be thoroughly cleaned. Using it in the washing machine is quick, easy, and ensures that the entire garment is thoroughly cleaned.

Application

Tech Wash® can be applied undiluted to stubborn stains with a sponge or brush before washing. Remove all non-washable parts. Shake the product well before use. Follow the care instructions. Do not use conventional detergents. Remove all detergent residue from the detergent dispenser. Place garment(s) in the washing machine (maximum 2 items). Use 150 ml in areas with medium-hard or hard water and 100 ml in areas with soft water for 1–2 items. Wash according to the care instructions.
